Ch03_08_Sermon_The Lord entrusted the gospel to those to whom He gave life (Mark 3:1–35)

For us who serve the gospel, too, there are times when the work entrusted to us feels only like a burden. This is because when the work to be done continues and we even meet with people’s opposition, the reason why we take this trouble grows dim in our hearts. At such times, we must look back on what we have received and to whom we have come to belong. The gospel we preach is, before it is the content of a task entrusted to us, the news of life that brought us to life out of sin. The Lord first called us, who were bearing the burden of sin, saying, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
