Having come out of the synagogue, Jesus entered the house of Simon and Andrew with James and John. The Bible conveys the situation of that house as follows: “But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once” (Mark 1:30). They brought the problem before the Lord on behalf of a weak person. We, too, when we see the difficulties of those who live alongside us, can go beyond merely worrying and tell the Lord, who will help, about them.
