Our human lives are spent walking and traveling through the desert. Those who are walking in the desert need water and the Bread of life. For a person walking in the desert, the water and bread that become his food are needed every day. Those who are walking in the desert need bread today, and they need it tomorrow as well. And they will need it in the days to come, too. Our Lord became the food of everlasting life for those who need bread and water. Even now, our Lord is the food of everlasting life for us. We give thanks before the Lord.
